ABOUT ME
My name is Sergio Gutierrez, I am a third year Architectural Technologist Student at Sheridan College. I have a strong passion for modern design, I am currently looking to extend my experience with Architecture working on an office setting onsite, learning more about design itself, as well as construction and communication with clients and superiors. Architecture has been a passion for me ever since I was young, throughout my family I have been always surrounded by artistic and intellectual people, both my parents come from an engineering background and my uncle comes from a musical background. My mother on her free time used to have a passion for painting as well as signing. I’ve always been influenced by art and music, as well as the art of science and math. This background helped me form the creative and passionate person that I am today. Throughout my experince at Sheridan it helped me understand that the field of Architecture is very broad, and we can learn new things inside or outside of the classroom. As I worked on many projects, I learned that my goal as a person and as an Architect is to create something “that can impact a person so deep that the object or building can last for many lifetimes, even without its presence”. Please Feel free to look over my most recent projects as it is a clear demonstration of my skills and my knowledge of both Architecture and Construction, as well as a demonstration of my personal works outside of Architecture.
